Lisa & Dan – Wedding at The Fox Theater, Detroit

It’s easy to get lost or focused on just the details from a wedding.  While they help set the tone and mood they should ultimately just be the supporting elements to the real reason of why a wedding takes place; love, commitment, family and celebration.  Lisa & Dan showcase how to be completely in tune with those moments and reasons even when you’re in such an amazingly beautiful & detailed venue as The Fox Theater.  Even when we were creating the stunning portraits you see of them, they allowed their love for each other to show; a photographers dream.

Hayley + Ben Engaged!

Annie & Patrick – Cleveland Area Wedding at The Hunt Club

….Aaaaand we’re back!  We took a little time off to recharge the batteries.  What better way to return than with a post from Annie & Patrick’s beautiful Wedding that was held in Gates Mills, OH at The Hunt Club.  Such a beautiful location for an elegant wedding.  Annie & Patrick, however, stole the show!  Such a warm and genuinely sweet couple, they made it a treat to photograph them, their family and their event.  Thanks also goes out to Valarie Kirkbride from Kirkbrides Wedding Planning & Design for creating a beautiful event with an elegant Equestrian theme. Kendall & John – Colony Club Wedding Detroit

Kendall & John can be described with one word…FUN!  And they had so much of it on their wedding day.  They were immersed in all the moments of the day and we couldn’t help but be caught up in the moments also…which is what we do best.  The Colony Club looked absolutely amazing with all the beautiful color and light!  Did I mention light?  Yup. Lighting is such a crucial part of any wedding and we are big advocates for having our clients understand the beauty of professional lighting.  The results can be seen in these images…of course thanks to the crew at The Lighting Guy.  Also big thanks to Flourish Event Design for bringing all the details together beautifully.

Whitney & Mike – Wedding at Cranbrook House & Gardens

Nothing is better for a professional photographer than when clients ‘get it’.  And what I mean is that they understand the artistic perspective you work from, the creativity, and the large amount of work it takes to make those stunning images.  Now add to that a truly genuine, kind and wonderful couple and you get Whitney & Mike.

They had a charming outdoor affair at the beautiful Cranbrook House & Gardens.  We love photographing there…sprawling natural backdrops, beautiful architecture, inspiring light.  But amongst all that Whitney & Mike stood out!  Their love for each other and friends and family truly showed.  To top it off they scheduled a lot of time for us to create the images you see of them and the bridal party.  Perfection!  Enjoy & Share – Nate
